My entry.
My bike desperately needs some more bling!  The spindly little aluminium rims just aren't cutting it.  Darkhorse wheels would make this already light weight bike a real demon uphills!!  I need them in my life!

Good question.

We're going to select our favourite photos and captions. We won't be very strict but a bit of creativity will get you picked. We'll run a random draw from that list.

This is my darling, I use her for road races and TT's as well. I am a junior cyclist so no salary for me, that's why I ride a R4k bike. It weighs a staggering 10.2 kgs. Coming down to the point- I am fast , the bike is not...

Not only will those 50mm of Carbon help me slice through the air but the Huuuggge drop in wheel weight will make me a demon(or should I say a Darkhorse) on the Climbs. You can see giving the wheels to me as an Investment if you like. :whistling:

Now those would really be great and would help me with the Jock as my training has not gone as planned????????, but just maybe they could safe the legs a bit on the climbs???????? and help me to finish in a better time????

I need the pair of Darkhorse DH50Tls because I feel that there should be two sets of tubbies in this relationship. At the moment it is just me.

This is a long shot, but if there is any way the darkhorse wheels could be adapted to fit my track bike I will be deleriously happy.  I raced kzn champs this year with the halo aero rage wheels and medaled a few times, but in a game where fractions of a second count some carbon tubbies would really make the difference. I would really like to do better next year.

If having these wheels on my track bike are not an option, my road bike could do with some love too♥

Triathlon has always been my passion, i have always raced my heart out in every race , making plans to fund my transport , nutrition and gear . I feel that i am improving everyday and seeing that my coach richard lawrie is a sponsored athlete by darkhorse i know that they make exceptionally good wheels , i have never had the opportunity to buy myself such awsome race wheels due to the fact that i am a student . No one will appreciate these wheels like i will . I know my times will improve exceptionally with these wheels and it will give me a great confidence boost . Oh jaa and my bike will look like a beaut. ????

Or how about just selecting THE most creative submission?  I've spent a lot of time fine-tuning my submission...  Following soon...  Sure you will enjoy it!

My Dream

In 2007, a mere filly, was I,

But dreaming already, racing highest clouds in the sky.

Born to the proud, small bloodline of FELT,

Top racing honours of F1, I was dealt.

In 2008, my young Garmin-Chitpole cousins joined Tour de France,

Ready were they, to make their stance!

Though a thing they did not win, they did not lose any face,

With such a pedigree, I … was born to RACE !!!

My first owner a jockey BIG, his name was Rod,

So with strong heavy stuff, I was shod.

With Shimano R500 up front, and Mavic at the back,

This tell you I can, I took a lot of flak.

Such un-pair of shoes, what a disgrace,

How will I ever, be able to RACE ?!?

However, despite the heavy shoes,

For years a many, I did not have a lot of woes.

Many happy Nelspruit centuries we did, I can say,

But then we moved to Gauteng: Please help me pray!

All this horrible traffic, Rod could not brace,

And now I beg you, how will I RACE ?!?

So a dark, rainy day in Sandton, the time was to sell,

BAAHHH!  Such a useless greenhorn, I can tell !!!!

And ALAS! To my worst disgust,

A year alone in the stable, I, was gathering dust!

The darkest of clouds, descended over my base,

Never again I will smell the adrenalin … of the RACE…

I was getting ready, to Rest ... In ... This … Dark … Place…

But WAIT!  Training now we’ve been, just over a year,

This tell you I can, our riding went up a gear!

Joined at Gauteng Champs and Emperors, the VB lot,

And stayed with them we did, on the trot!

Though growing old I am, with dignity and grace,

I am eventually….:  BACK in the RACE !!!!

YEEEEEE  HAAAAA  !!!!

With coach Jaco, hard taskmaster at our side,

We’re training wacco, for year of next, big Cape Town ride.

But I’m afraid I’m still shod, with that un-gaitly lot,

If stay like this I do, we’ll surely miss the plot!

Right now our hearts, are right in the place,

With Darkhorse shod we surely will …. WIN THE RACE !!!

So honourable Darkhorse steed,

I urge you to do, the noble deed:

Please restore to me, my never-had, race-bred glory,

The last Golden chapter then to write, of my long story.

The competition then, we will outpace,

In any … future RACE !!!

I decided on the prefect mix between couch photo for the purists, a newly waxed bike for the perfectionist, in the big ring because who even uses the small one, then the reason I have not bought deep sections for the ladies.

Steel is real but nothing would bring this classic Italian Stallion into the 21st century like a set of Darkhorse wheels

A set of darkhorse wheels will give my old steed a new lease on life. She serve me well with all the diy mods that a little TLC will go a long way. 07ad76ec9e523c67938043720cbf4c81.jpg
