100mm max travel platform

  • Shorter and lighter upper tubes and air shafts
  • Air spring optimized for 100mm—no need for pre-installed tokens and maintains tune-ability
  • Knocked out magnesium dropouts
  • Easier to hit stiffness requirements at 100mm with less material in lower than with a longer travel fork. No compromise.

Torque cap compatibility

  • All SID forks are Torque Cap compatible: 15×100 and BOOST (15×110)
  • Torque Caps provide a larger interface between the hub and fork, with additional stiffness over a standard end cap

New solo air spring

  • More linear spring curve to suit a broader range of rider weights.

They are holding out on us. They are milking the success of the RS1 for another year. Bring the RS1 design to the SID and Reba already!

and we are back to sub 1.4kg sids but without the 28mm stanctions

So the 164g difference between the SID World Cup and the SID RLC is made by the carbon Steerer/crown assembly ? Not bad..

 

I see they dropped the WorldCup XX and the X-lock now only features on the XX. Seems they are phasing out the x-lock in favour of the "One-lock".
