The Radial Impact Absorbing Carbon Technology and WideRight rim profiles of our new Bravo wheelset were created by listening to our Enduro and Downhill racers. Their need for strength, speed, and tubeless performance led us to develop the Bravo, the first trail and all-mountain wheel engineered to soak up impacts.

We’ve heard the demand for true performance tubeless wheelsets for road and gravel. The R-series Bead Socket Technology on our new Avion Carbon Disc wheelset features less rolling resistance and improved comfort. Designed for higher tire volume and lower pressures both with tubes and without, the Avion is ready for any road.

Bravo Wheelset

Built for all-day trail rides and enduro racing, and developed with the World Championship-winning Atherton DH Team, our new Bravo wheelset rethinks carbon fiber from the ground up. The Bravo’s Radial Impact Absorbing Carbon Technology (RiACT) is three times stiffer than our aluminum rims laterally, but absorbs radial impacts to withstand bigger hits and roll faster. Patented Bead Socket tubeless technology improves traction, and creates a lighter, stronger rim. Weighing less than 1650g (27.5″), the Bravo’s 32mm WideRight profile increases tire volume without negatively affecting tread shape or sidewall height. With the added durability and quick engagement of our new Neo and Neo Ultimate hubs, the Bravo is the new benchmark for all trail wheelsets.

Avion

Offering decreased rolling resistance on paved roads, unbeatable comfort on gravel, and a weight barely over 1500g, the Avion Carbon Disc is the future of performance road wheelsets. The Avion’s R Series Bead Socket Technology is designed for tubeless- specific road tires, traditional clincher tires when used with tubes, and wider gravel and cyclocross tires. The 28mm WideRight rim profile of the Avion increases tire volume and decreases pressure, for less rolling resistance, superior traction, and more comfort. Featuring our vibration damping Radial Impact Absorbing Carbon Technology (RiACT) and built around the reliability and quick engagement of our new Neo and Neo Ultimate hubs, the Avion offers performance that doesn’t stop when the pavement ends.

Valor wheelset

It took a special carbon fiber wheelset to live up to the legendary racing heritage of our aluminum wheels. So we created a special kind of carbon fiber. Our Radial Impact Absorbing Carbon Technology (RiACT) creates a rim three times stiffer than aluminum but able to absorb radial impacts to roll faster and last longer. Patented BST sidewalls offer the best tubeless performance for more traction and less rolling resistance, and the Valor’s WideRight rim shape expands tire volume without compromising tread shape or adding weight. Featuring our new, faster-engaging, 100% CNC machined Neo and Neo Ultimate hubs and weighing less than 1300g for the 27.5″ wheelset, nothing accelerates like a Valor.

Neo hubs feature wider, larger diameter bearings to roll smoother and last longer. We also widened the bearing stance to increase stiffness, and forged the 36-tooth ratchet ring for precision and durability. The Neo’s 100% CNC-machined hub shell and shoulder- free, swaged and centerless ground axle offer incredible strength and stiffness, and the co-molded main seal integrates directly into the shell for more riding and less maintenance. The SealLock end caps on our front hubs offer more protection and make loose and lost end caps a thing of the past. Everything about the new Neo is built for maximum durability.

Then we made them faster. The Neo’s new 4PAWL drive system engages 20% faster than our previous hubs, and the Neo Ultimate’s 6PAWL system is even faster, offering an incredible 5-degree engagement. The result is instant response, faster acceleration and more control in technical conditions. Additional CNC machining on the Neo Ultimate’s hub shell also shaves weight, and angled flanges improve spoke alignment.

Axle standards keep changing, but the Neo is ready with a wide range of models, including 110mm and 148mm Boost, to fit almost any bike. Easy to read, laser-etched end caps and modular freehub options help Neo hubs adapt to changing needs.
