Current women’s Olympic road champion and Rabo-Liv rider, Marianne Vos and her management, Zeloo BV, initially set up the new project however it has since grown to receive support from over 300 ambassadors from a range of backgrounds.

Strongher’s ambassadors all have the same goal, which is to connect professional and grassroots participants to give women’s cycling a stage to help develop the sport further.

Voxwomen has the same outlook as the Strongher initiative and its video content will be used across various Strongher channels to assist with the continued growth of women’s cycling.

Marianne is looking forward to continue to assist with women’s cycling and she said: “We started (Stronger) almost three years ago. We said, let’s think about how we can grow women’s cycling and how we can get more women on bikes.

Marit Huisman, also part of the Strongher initiative, added: “Strongher is all about giving women a stage to ride. The synergy between women’s grassroots cycling and professional is so unique, and we want to give women all around the world the confidence to follow their dreams.”

Anthony McCrossan, Voxwomen channel founder and UCI Women’s World Cup Commentator, said: “It’s a pleasure to be a partner of the Strongher initiative. Voxwomen was initially set up to raise the profile of women’s cycling and to introduce people to inspirational female professional cyclists. With Marianne Vos and this strong team of ambassadors, we hope that this new movement Strongher will encourage more media and sponsor coverage to help support and promote the sport.”

The Voxwomen team of Bryony Burton, Kimberley Keay, Laura Winter and Lois Dowsett have worked hard to create inspirational women’s cycling content over the last seven months and they said: “To partner with initiatives like Strongher will only help to build the profile of women’s cycling. Strongher and Voxwomen have the same goals and we look forward to working with Marianne and her team of ambassadors over the coming months.”
