Following on President Ramaphosa’s address of the nation on 15 March, where national COVID-19 containment measures were introduced, the League will cancel SpurFest 2020. Entry fees will be refunded and League administration will be in contact with entrants regarding the mechanism of such refunds.
Further, The League, Spur Steak Ranches and Schools Cycling South Africa (SCSA) supports all measures introduced by the government to contain the spread of COVIT-19 and recognizes that these steps will have a serious impact on League activities going forward.
Further measures may be implemented on short notice by the Schools and Education and/or Public health authorities. SCSA in conjunction with the League are taking our responsibility seriously and will monitor this closely.
