Adventure Inc adds Ibis Cycles

Adventure Inc recently announced their appointment as exclusive distributors for Ibis Cycles in South Africa, venturing further into the cycling market and adding to the premium sports and outdoor brands already in their stable. The current growth strategy of Adventure Inc takes the stable to a total of 20 sports and outdoor brands, each specifically selected to support the evolution of the South African market.

Adventure Inc has a proud heritage of excellence in distributing brands such as Buff®, Osprey and Sea to Summit and have more recently added brands like Muc-Off, that now all enjoy the benefits of their well-established warehousing, sales, service, marketing and distribution efforts

With this infrastructure behind Ibis in South Africa, consumers will benefit from ease of product access and solid back up service.

There are three Ibis models currently available in South Africa, and all three have a Try / Buy backing through a select dealer network. The range includes the 3rd generation iconic Ripley LS 29er, the Mojo 3 and the Mojo HD4.

Ripley Gen 3

Generation 3 long and slack 29″ trail bike with DW-link kinematics, 120mm rear travel and 130mm front fork.

  • Added clearance for Maxxis 2.5 WT and Schwalbe 2.6 tyres and wider rims
  • Accommodates 1x or 2X Shimano side swing or 2 Di2 front derailleurs

  • Approved for 130-140mm Travel forks

  • Provision for internal cable-actuated or hydraulic adjustable seat posts
  • Tapered head tube (suitable for various Cane Creeks & Chris King InSet 3)

Mojo 3

Highly versatile trail bike, featuring a low, long, slack geometry, extremely short chainstays and latest generation DW-link.

Mojo HD4

Redesigned Mojo geometry offering stiffer upper and lower links and increased reach for optimum stability and speed.

  • Accepts 27.5″ tires in 2.3″, 2.5″, 2.6 and 2.8″ Plus size

TWO BOTTLES
We've made a provision on the Ripley for 2 water bottles, one inside the triangle and one below the down tube. It’s best to use a side-loading cage if using a large bottle inside the triangle.
