Line Elite Shallow
Expand your horizons
Explore even further afield with a saddle designed for big days out. Our Line saddle ditches the traditional hard, stretched cover for our ground-breaking three-piece bonded design. As well as this the Line has a full-length pressure relief channel, creating a saddle of supreme comfort, lightness and durability.
Rails: Cro-mo (7mm)
Base: Flexible nylon
Mid rail to saddle topper 45mm
The Fabric Line saddle is available in Elite, Pro and Race versions with two width options: 134mm and 142mm. Our test model is the entry-level Fabric Line Elite Shallow 142mm which features chro-mo rails (the Pro and Race version sport titanium and Carbon rails respectively).
The Line Elite is a well constructed and competitively priced saddle which performs well in a range of riding modes. Comfort is of course what we're all after and despite being fussy when it comes to saddles the 142mm was a near perfect fit and the dense foam with a full length cut out proved comfortable from the first ride.

Super-grippy knurled bar tape
Stay in control with our foam-backed Kraton rubber and non-slip knurled bar tape. The Knurl pattern makes it super grippy and comfortable, while the silicone backing soaks up unwanted road buzz. Simple to wrap and keep clean, it’s made for all weather conditions and can be used comfortably with or without gloves.
2 x Tape rolls
2 x Bar ends
2 x Finishing strips
The Fabric Knurl handlebar tape has exceeded my expectations, both in terms of comfort and durability.
It has a good firm “squish” which seems to absorb road chatter without it feeling like I am steering a sofa. I ride predominantly without gloves, and the knurled texture offers excellent grip and is comfortable on bare skin. Even in the rain the grip is reliable.
I thought the bright green colour would show the dirt and be impossible to clean, but it has survived more than a few rainy rides, and any mud splashed up has wiped off afterwards.
Full ergonomic support
Get extra support on the ride with the Ergo lock-on grip. A broad, flat pad braces your palm at the outer edge of the handlebar. Further support comes from its shock-absorbing silicone construction, while scuff-resistant bar end plugs prevent the bike slipping when propped up.

Semi Ergo Grips
Follows the contours of your hand
Get extra grip and support on the ride with the Semi ergo grip. Shaped to follow the contours of your hand, the subtly ergonomic, Hex-patterned grip is made from medical-grade silicone, making it both ultra grippy and supportive.
Weight: 96g pair
The Semi Ergo Grips were simple to fit with a reliable looking locking mechanism. We received the white grip, probably not my first choice for a mountain bike but fitting them to a full murdered out black bike made the grips pop in their favour. The Semi Ergo grip has a raised section in the middle of the grip to match the natural curve of the palm of the hand when placed on the grip so that the palm is not forced to flatten, which can cause discomfort.
The Semi Ergo was comfortable and when the hand is placed over the ergo section feeling like more natural position than with flat grips. My only doubt is that if you do not hold the grip over the raised piece in the centre, although functionally it works fine, it can feel slightly awkward.
