20 minutes later and followed up with an "autosol marine shine"  Best product for boning up a bike

 

The Shimano stuff will be off tomorrow

 

Now I'm not sure whether to send this frame to have the chips sorted or leave it as is - It has scars in all the wrong places so I'm leaning towards improvement

Claimed weight is 965 grans for the pair. Mine weighs in at 950 grams

 

Wow that is light! I'd have a 6.7kg C40 with those.

This is incredibly beautiful - really like this

 

 

Monday repost. New wheels brings her weight down to 6.93kg. Frame size is 61cm

Re the Christallo:

 

I wonder how they do the graphics. They have done a few like that, LDV and Jet for example. My guess is a decal or sticker of sorts under the final clear paint layer.

 

Local painters cant do the same, Ive asked most of them.

I have stripped and sent my "new" art decor" off to CBR in Durbanville to be restored.  I decided patina is not what I'm going for on this build.

This saddle came with the bike and unfortunately I don't have any photos showing quite how sad it was.  I was messing around yesterday and one thing led to another  -  I am very pleased with this restoration.

I have been asked by a friend to see if there is any interest in this C40 , to big for me unfortunately  it is a size 58/59 Record 10 speed
