Captain Fastbastard Mayhem Posted April 13, 2012 Share Received some complaints about this topic. Posts have been removed. Cool. Sorry bout that...  A gilet, arm warmers and a buff. Depending on how hard It's raining, a rain jacket as well.
GLuvsMtb Posted April 13, 2012 Share Layers are important. Cold, clear mornings:- Long sleeved body-fit sports vest (UnderArmor or the like), Cycling top and a long sleeved cycling jersey over that- Buff- Leg warmers- Sealskinz socks (they're breathable, but air and water resistant) Wet rides:- Same as above, but change the long sleeved cycling jersey for First Ascent rain jacket and often drop the leg warmers as they make you even colders when soaked. Cippo Posted April 13, 2012 Share Black garbage bag as a rain jacket, dont buy the cheap ones at the traffic lights you can't use them for more than three days. Surgical gloves over my cycling gloves, I get them for free at work. Plastic shopping bags over my shoes and lots of Vaseline on my legs to let water run off.
