Cool. Sorry bout that...

A gilet, arm warmers and a buff. Depending on how hard It's raining, a rain jacket as well.

Layers are important.

Cold, clear mornings:

- Long sleeved body-fit sports vest (UnderArmor or the like), Cycling top and a long sleeved cycling jersey over that

- Buff

- Leg warmers

- Sealskinz socks (they're breathable, but air and water resistant)

Wet rides:

- Same as above, but change the long sleeved cycling jersey for First Ascent rain jacket and often drop the leg warmers as they make you even colders when soaked.

Move to Durban ;-) naaah it still gets cold enough here at 5AM.

Looks like the guys have most of it covered.

Black garbage bag as a rain jacket, dont buy the cheap ones at the traffic lights you can't use them for more than three days. Surgical gloves over my cycling gloves, I get them for free at work. Plastic shopping bags over my shoes and lots of Vaseline on my legs to let water run off.
