Did you fit yours with or without a bit of carbon compound? I am fitting alu to alu and was wondering?

yip, with carbon compound. Sure it helps the grip with carbon.

Any recommendations for a 27.2mm diameter dropper post with external routing?

Lyne currently don't have and Rock Shox don't make that size afaik.

Any ideas?

So I went and rode at Thaba to test out my new Lyne dropper. I can now see what all the fuss is concerning droppers. Felt so much more in control and confident on the technical descents as well as some of the windy trails. Dropper worked 100%. Don't regret it a bit!

Can never go wrong with a dropper amd once you have one you not be able to ride without it.

I sometimes think I use mine more than I should as I use it all the time. Thaba is a great place to use a dropper.
