Wow, that's an awesome build... seatpost looks familiar

Shame on you for the bar-ends though, not cool... :w00t:

May you have many happy km's on it!!!!!

Still waiting for my Zero29 to arrive, had issues with the snow apparently.. where did you get yours from again?

GT Zaskar 100, carbon 26 inch dual

Quite a change in geometry then. So how much slower were you in the forest due to the bigger wheels, or is that all bull? I realise that it was only your first ride.. In The zig zag open section you must have felt like you were flying?

Thanks.

I tried the no bar end thing, had evry intention of leaving them off, then did a 70km marathon without bar ends and my hands were damn sore, reckon I'll need them for the stage races, at least they're not carbon :)

My Frame arrived at my LBS on Tuesday so I just missed the snow.

I'll reserve judgement until I've done a few rides, 1st impressions were that it's faster once you get the wheels rolling, definitely slower in the tight twisty stuff but rolls over things a whole lot easier, overall so far I'd say the 29er is faster, having said that I am 1.93m tall so the 29er does make sense for my height.

Now quickly change your name from GT1 to PYGA1 before someone snatches it....

Bar ends?! Haibo...

Nice build otherwise.

What size is the frame? Looks like you could've gone one size bigger... Tall seatpost and all the spacers beneath the stem.

Ha Ha, I can see major flack coming for the bar ends, oh well ;)

It's a size XL, so no bigger size available, having said that I think the fit is good.

Fair enough. Can't go much bigger than XL.

Besides, as long as it feels good, that's all the matters. Leka ride. Welcome to the World of 29rs and to the PYGA club ;)
