A welcome to our new Content Manager

Hi Hubbers,

You may have noticed some news articles over the past week from a new member called ‘Claudio’. I’d like to officially welcome and introduce our first full-time staff member, @Claudio.

He joined The Hub team last week Monday (9 Sept) to fill the role of ‘Content Manager’, which we’ll get into shortly.

First off, the important stuff, like most of us, Claudio is a bike-nut and keen Gravity rider. When he isn’t behind a keyboard at Hub HQ, he spends a fair bit of time on his jump bike and playing drums. Unfortunately his beloved Santa Cruz Heckler was stolen a little while back, but he’s itching to get back on the trails soon.

Content Manager?

Claudio’s goal as Content Manager is to feature more useful, interesting and relevant content on the site. Content sourced from 3rd parties, existing forum contributions and our own, original content.

For example, there’s a lot of great content in the forums which often gets lost in sheer volume of daily threads and can be tricky to find. Race reports, build projects, workshop tips, workarounds (aka ‘Bike Hacks’ as coined by Claudio) are just a few examples. This sort of content deserves to be featured more prominently and ‘filed’ for easier access.

There are many exciting developments on the horizon around this and general site improvements (e.g. a much needed Classifieds update coming soon).

We’ll keep you in the loop with all progress and will be reaching out to Hubbers for input and advice.

Please join me in welcoming Claudio to our team!

Regards,

Matt

Welcome Claudio.

I like what the MyBroadband forums are doing with their news articles, which is a great way to stay up-to-date with relevant stuff when the amount of talk on the forums become overwhelming.
