Where is the biggest, meanest, longest and steepest hill in Jo'berg?

The reason I ask is because I've been toying with the idea of hosting a hill climb TT.

Would the hubbers be interested in something like this? Winner gets a cycling shirt saying he/she won - and gets the only one in the country - and ofcourse they get to brag on strava :)

SBR has a few very serious climbs but technically not in Jhb, but just a few k's south east on our lovely upgraded highways.

Other candidates are Northcliff hill (although i heard some of that is fenced off now) and Munro Drive in Houghton, which has a nice little kick at the end, need to start of Old Eds for the full climb though.

Thanks for the suggestions - keep em coming.

Do you think people will go for this? Was thinking of maybe doing it every 2 months on a friday evening with an official challenge for the jersey taking place only once a year?

I'm not a JHB resident, but I've often thought about that same idea, but in PTA - Klapperkop was my idea, and would be great for spectators too.
