It is very sad and terrible news, condolences to the families. We really do not have many 'safe' options in Bloem for road cycling, especially when trying to put in long rides for training for something like IMSA. I have found the Dewetsdorp route to be the safest. There are big shoulders on both sides. The problem is just to get past Grootvlei gevangenis.
