MrJacques Posted February 3, 2014 Share So we have a nice thread with people showing off all their latest purchases... but what's the worst (or just any bad) cycling related purchase you've made? For me it's probably a unicycle... seemed like a fun idea, but just couldn't get going on it. Some nice replies... good to learn from mistakes, especially if they're not your own
DJR Posted February 3, 2014 Share A pouch for my cellphone that clipped to my Camelbak strap. On the very first ride the thing fell out and I had to spend 4 hours walking both the Tokai and Silvermine trails at midday in midsummer while phoning it every 50 metres trying to hear it ringing in the bushes. Stupid thing! I threw it away to save someone else hassles.

Mojoman Posted February 3, 2014 Share Funnily enough, above this thread was one for ERGON grips. My worst purchase was some or other cheap brand copy of ERGON grips, used them for one ride and that was it! Another cracker are cheap water bottles, you give them a good squeeze and the top flies off covering you in your drink of choice
Greg29 Posted February 3, 2014 Share It has to be the Camelbak drying fan - what a piece of cr@p and it was even featured on a Super Sport product review.

Your bank should be able to help with the claim.
