Guest Smimby Posted February 27, 2014 Share Some normal 23 or 25 Road tyres do fit 29er wheels. So just get some road tyres and tubes.
bj horn Posted February 27, 2014 Share Got 700 x 38 tyres and 700x35-45 tubes from City Cycles the other day. Can now interchange them between commuter and 29r. Or just ride all the tread off your 29r tyres, only thing if you go back onto gravel you will have no traction and will do some drifting around the corners
lerouc Posted February 27, 2014 Share Got my slicks from william at williams bike shop in somerset west. using 26" tubes.

TALUS Posted February 27, 2014 Share Any wider roadbike tyres or even better some Cyclocross tyres. I dont think any of them go well tubeless (not sure though).
GLuvsMtb Posted February 27, 2014 Share Here's your answer. They had the correct tubes too for the 700x32c and 700x37c when I bought slicks for the mtb tandem earlier in Feb.
