Can you fit "slicks" on a 29r if so what and where do i find them - do i need to get a different tube as well ??? - doing Argus rd on the 29r

Some normal 23 or 25 Road tyres do fit 29er wheels. So just get some road tyres and tubes.

Got 700 x 38 tyres and 700x35-45 tubes from City Cycles the other day. Can now interchange them between commuter and 29r. Or just ride all the tread off your 29r tyres,only thing if you go back onto gravel you will have no traction and will do some drifting around the corners

Any wider roadbike tyres or even better some Cyclocross tyres. I dont think any of them go well tubeless (not sure though).

Here's your answer. They had the correct tubes too for the 700x32c and 700x37c when I bought slicks for the mtb tandem earlier in Feb.
