So what are you up to training wise this week?

Some climbing? Intervals? Or tapering your ass off?

I was planning to ride a 2h session on Wednesday and Thursday and maybe focus some more on stretching every day.

Nothing on Friday and Saturday though.

What are your plans?

Had an intense week last week with 6 days out of 7, 16hs of saddle time, 380km and 4,000m climbing. This week plans are for a 2hr moderate flat spin tomorrow, 2hs relatively intense climbing session on Wed (1 to 1.5k), zero for Thu and Friday (traveling overnight to SA) and just a quick spin on Sat.

id have thought hard climbing is just going to make you tired? i went to jonkershoek today to practice riding uphill switchbacks.. had to put some effort in but generally rode fairly easy. did a couple of 15-20 sec sprints. tomorrow will be the same then prob day or 2 off. sat il ride an hour or so with a couple of short hard efforts.

Relatively intense in the sense of having the climbing meters but not the hard effort. Coming from a few weeks of off-days due to a flu before last week, so need to keep building rhythm...

Lying on my back. Eating pies and watching other people get stressed. Too late to worry now. Just keep those legs loose and the tank full. Last hill climb time trial for me today. Gotta beat the 14:25.
