Awesome Bogus Martini paint job on Ritchey P 29

Hi all you hubbers, pimps and gear gurus.

I have been riding my Ritchey P29 pretty hard for the past 30 months.

The frame is looking pretty ragged and I want the super talented Bogus to respray it for me.

Post any ideas you think that might be cool in this thread so I ca get some creative juices flowing and get Bogus all excited for his task at hand.

This is the frame here.

Depending on the colour and style to be done, it can be matched with either of these two forks.

how about white base with black decals and tattoos?

tattoos can be handwritten personal messages written by your kids & wife, copied by SIR Bogus and sprayed onto the frame (pinstriping kinda thing)

Think you should send that ragged old frame to me, as a donation obviously, and then treat yourself to a new one.

You deserve it.......

on a serious note, I would keep the colour scheme as it is. Iconic.

Maybe just do a few custom touches to it to make it unique. Change the font or add a few pin stripes here and there.

Good luck, with Bogus one you can't go wrong!!!

As much as I like the original look and colour, and as much as it looks like the old P21's and P22's.

I am hungry for a change.

but wasnt it you who had a "boxing match" on the hub about the color scheme of the ritchey, when some hubber(noob) pointed out it looked like a half job, and they suggested you spray it properly in one color

AND YOU BLEW A GASKET????

No, I never blew a gasket.

They were complaining about the colour and saying they won't buy the bike based on the colour and I pointed out that it was a shallow approach.

IMHO CHANGING A RITCHEY WOULD BE SACRILIEGE

Thank goodness all is good then, there will be no frame modifications done.

If you are going to respray a Ritchey steel frame, at least spray it like a Ritchey steel frame ....
