Heel Drop Posted November 16, 2014 Share Going through all the pics of the 94.7 ( well thos that actually made it there) and I see many of the full closed helmets. My question its always been said that one need the openings for airflow and to keep cool - has some one been lying to us all this time can we actually use a helmet with no holes ? Pulse Posted November 16, 2014 Share These (limited vent) helmets have been shown to be more airodynamic. There was a thread a WHILE back (I think before the big crash), where the factors that play a role in improved performace were discussed. These helmets have a bigger performance benefit than aero wheels. (If I remember correctly)
