I restored one about 2 years ago as well (purple), it turned out really well. Now standing proudly in my garage, considering doing the Argus on it this year. Check out the UK Chopper page if you need stickers etc, I got mine through a fella on there

Hehe...flippen DANGEROUS bike the Raleigh Chopper...I had a bright orange GT SPRINT the one with the drop handlebars....lost my front teeth from the thing...front wheel used to wobble like mad at speed.... :whistling:  :whistling: ...I think in the States they eventually outlawed the Raleigh Chopper ..coz they deemed the middle gear shift to be too dangerous...

:D Better late than never  :D

Luckily I still have both, but I do have the scars to show from one of those unstable-at-speed monsters and I don't want one again no matter how cool they become.  :cursing:  ;)
