This is a new thread for the competition mooted in the "Heavy Cyclist" thread, drawing on comments made.

The competition is open to all cyclists who weigh over 90kg on the starting date.

Entries to the competition will close Monday 7 December 2015 which is the starting date.

All entrants to post their starting weight and maybe a photo no later than that date. If you have already posted a weight, that will be your starting weight.
All entrants should post their weight every Monday for tracking and mutual motivation/support purposes. If you are away, post as soon as you are back.
V12man will run a spread sheet tracking weekly progress.

The competition will run until Monday 11 January 2016 with your weight on that day being your final weight.
The difference between starting weight and final weight will be expressed as a % of the starting weight.
The winner will be the person who has lost the greatest % of their starting weight.

We have a prize generously donated by Broker and of course bragging rights to the winner.

Golf rules: you score yourself and would not even think of cheating

And why only 90kg+?

I'm 78, but quite short and considered overweight

Put your numbers in - we will debate the measures... :) bmi or kg lost as a %
