Dazshell Posted May 31, 2016 Share Get hold of the guys at Trans-sport. They have awesome bike boxes that only require removing the front wheel. http://www.trans-sport.co.za/ Not 100% sure if they do point to point courier or just races but they are part of Nightwing Couriers so I am sure they can make a plan. They moved 60 bikes to CTCT for our club.

I needed the bike boxed and spoke to Hannes at Durbanville Giant, who was also of great help. I didn't buy there, just called out of the blue. Guys, with service like this we will go far!!!!!!!!!!!! T-Bob Posted February 24, 2020 Share Thanks guys. Just have prob with getting quote from the xoc website. What are the dimension of a mtb ? Chances are you'll need a bike box to send and the sizes depends on the if it's a 29'r, road or 650b. Head down to your local bike shop and see if they have any out the back they'll give you. You can work on 140 x 80 x 30cm and about 3kgs for the box weight on top of your bike weight. The should give you a rough guess on the cost you're looking at. shaper Posted February 24, 2020 Share Thanks guys. Just have prob with getting quote from the xoc website. What are the dimension of a mtb ?As T-bob says, see if you can get an old bike box from your LBS then pack the bike for the courier. The better it is packed the less likely will the possibility of being damaged. If LBS does not have you can get from Boxman https://boxman.co.za/product/bicycle-box-dwb-double-wall-board/?v=68caa8201064 1460 x 260 x 790mm T-Bob
