Cav' Posted July 27, 2016 Share Too tired to Google, how many days to setup the Fantasy Vuelta? Starts August 20. It's ok Gerarld, by then it will only be the usual bunch of us (15 or so..)70% of the guys who entered the Tdf Fantasy comp, has no clue in which country the Vuelta takes place.. Was wondering why my stats from last year (for stage 1) was blank, and then I remembered the disaster of an opening stage from last year. Who could forget that stage across the beach, on pavements and everything else. Cav', Bonus and Gen

Frosty Posted July 27, 2016 Share Some facts from last year: Mrs Schleck won a stage - [emoji15];And finished 3rd on the KOM standings;4 riders didn't finish stage 2 - the first (real) stage after the opening day shambles; The Combined jersey replaces the YoungRider jersey; The Polka Dot jersey is white with blue dots; The leader wears Red;The winning time (2015) was 85h 36m 13s... Compared to 89h 4m48s (Tour) and 86h 32m 49s (Giro);Average speeds were: 39.2 (2015 Vuelta), 40.8 (2016 Tour), 38.8 (2016 Giro). Frosty Posted July 28, 2016 Share The rules for the Fantasy Vuelta comp - pretty much the same as the Tour. Points for:top 20 (each stage);top 10 (GC);top 10 (Sprinters);top 10 (KOM);jersey owners (GC, Sprint, KOM and Combined classifications);most aggressive;break (at intermediate sprint point - which is quite close to the finish line in a numebr of stages);breakWin (riders in the break that stay away);top 10 on final GC for each category (GC, Sprint, KOM and Combined);overall aggressive rider. No points for the team competition, even though there is a team TT to start the Vuelta.2016 Rules & Scoring - Fantasy Vuelta v0.pdf Gen, Bonus and bertusras
