Raydek Posted December 20, 2016 Share If you do go the Strava route, these are some links I find useful. 1. To download any route from Strava (without premium account). Past the activity link into the below website. http://strava-tools.raceshape.com/vpu/ 2. As it downloads in an odd format, the below site allows conversion to a large range of formats. http://www.gpsies.com/convert.do 3. If you are wanting to edit the track before using it. This is one of the better programs I have used. https://getadze.com/ 4. And then finally, if you have edited/converted the track, it most likely lost all the time info. So this website adds time/avg speed etc to the track should you want to upload it to your Strava account again or want to ghost a certain time when riding. http://gotoes.org/strava/Add_Timestamps_To_GPX.php Hope that helps. Otherwise though, I don't believe there is a central database of gpx files, I tried building one with someone a few years back, but it just took up too much time and trails changed to often it became more of a mission than anything else. At some point I also started adding tracks to Google Earth that anyone would be able to download, but again the process was tedious and I rather wanted to ride.. lol...
