Dirt jump for trials?

ive recently been doing alot of trials on my freeride but its to heavy,ive used my freinds a DJ alot for it,

is it worth buying a DJ bike for trials,unlike the freeride i can do full nose-pivots on a dj and full bunnyhop 180s kichops etc

It all depends on what style you are looking at riding, pure trials or more street. Your budget will also play a huge role here, many guys buy a DJ bike, ride it for a year while they save up and then move over onto a trials bike. A DJ bike is heavy and the geometry is not ideal, but it is loads better than a Freeride bike!!
