JanJan Posted January 20, 2017 Share I assume you work for Virgin Active. Just want to start the first post of a thread on a bit more formal and useful tone, instead of the "who doing it" or "ridez not syncing" standard Hub talk. Anyway, the first question: Does the riding buddy also need to meet the goals? Patchelicious
scotty Posted January 20, 2017 Share All good except for 5, even if I rode for 24 hours in my area i would not get 3500m.

Anyway, the first question: Does the riding buddy also need to meet the goals? From what I gathered Yes. 3 x "teams" that have met all the challenges will then be selected, randomly (not nec. the best) and be flown to CT for the final challenge (they don't mention what it will be). Elvis Posted January 20, 2017 Share Thats not a challenge? Thats a normal week. It seems they only want people to join the gym. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk dirtypot, Patchelicious and MJ the Expat
NelAndre Posted January 20, 2017 Share Yip, I am out by virtue of requirement #6, really no desire to join the gym. Cool plan though and all those wanting to do it- enjoy! carbon29er

scotty Posted January 20, 2017 Share It's over a week, not a single ride. So should be achievable. East rand is flat as a pancake, I did a 3 hour ride on Sunday and barely managed 300m ascent. To achieve 3500 i would have to cycle Suikerbos 3 x in 1 week. Edited January 20, 2017 by scotty
Rich Posted January 20, 2017 Share worth doing - although getting an Epic entry may not be a prize for me
Spinnekop Posted January 20, 2017 Share Number 6 is where I'm coming unstuck...Jip.#6 Not happening. Maybe the other 5 challenges are a "challenge" for Virgin Active members? To the normal cyclist out this this should be fairly easy and seen as a "lucky draw"
