Got my grubby little paws on a very scare Mongoose that I didn't know even existed until now.I give to you, Eric Carter's, 2006, signature 4 cross frame, the EC-X: I did a dummy fit the past weekend to get a feel of what the finished project will look like, and have already contacted the master of resprays, BogusOne, to help with the project.The basic idea of what I want to achieve : Current specs are as follows:2006 Mongoose EC-X freedrive frame (75/83mm travel)RockShox MC3.1 rear shock2010 Fox Float 32 RL at 150mmMavic XM117 rims, laced with a DT Swiss Onyx hub rear, and Specialized Stout frontE13 chain guide and bashringHope 34T NW chainring paired with a 11-36 10 speed cassetteDeore cranksetSram X7 shifter and rear derailieurFunn funduro 60mm stem, matched with a 780mm handlebar. Plan to have the fork sprayed orange to match the color scheme. Already sourced funky orange shifter cable housings from Lynn as well as orange grips from ebay. Still need to source a few component to complete the build, but first step will be the respray...Aslo kind of contemplating fitting it with a dropper post as well.
