South coast trails

So we are at the KZN South coast for this week,started at clearwater trails,going to Lake Eland,Burry stander MYB park. What other trails are on the SC worth going to? Saw trails at Rocky Bay resort,who rode those trails,and how safe is it for 2 people to ride?

Rocky bay trails are great, they seem to be on private farms so should be safe. The security guard said it's safe so I rode alone. Lots of flowing single track and an Enchanted forest ride near the end.

As a " local" i can  Rocky Bay IS  pretty safe..Have ridden alone many times and never encountered any issues.And dont think because you start at the coast its going to be a flat ride.Very enjoyable.

I rode there for a few days in July, they are reasonably well marked but keep an eye out for the signs. I rode alone and at no point felt unsafe.

That's about it for marked courses on the South Coast. Come join Dura Cycles for club rides where they explore the local foot paths and cattle tracks. They head out at 16:00 on a Wednesday afternoon and 06:30 on a Saturday morning.

I found it well marked all the way. I have the ride on Strava but not sure how to send gpx file..

There’s a trail from Saddle & Shack Co in Rocky bay - not 100% sure on the distance.

 

Giba Gorge if you like mostly single track with some technical stuff.

 

Eston is farm roads with a few single track trails.

Awesome, I’ll check them out but, I’m leaning towards Giba.
