I have a project that requires some recycling of a stainless steel dishmachine hood being cut into a number of fairly precisely cut rectangles...

Anyone in Cape Town able to do it cleanly? Case of beer of your choice for someone eho can help!

Thanks,

Joss

After marking, cut with small angle grinder with appropriate cutting disk (in the hands of someone so skilled), the finish / debur with a flat file.

This, and it helps to clamp a piece of flat stock or angle iron on the line you want to cut to guide the grinder.

Depending on what you are willing to spend waterjet would be great but it's very expensive. Can try Lazer or plasma cutting at Unmet in Parrow industrial much cheaper. Or pm me some pics of what it is and what you want I can maybe sort it for you depending on the amount you want cut.

How thick is the stainless steel?  I am guessing not too thick if coming from a dishwash hood, so anyone with a decent size guillotene should surely be able to cut it for you.
