So? People get applauded for using eBikes for Ebduro all the time.

Not in the EWS. No need to be a smartass, it's not like pro level road bikers don't dope....

There have been a couple of interviews and names mentioned over the years, there are a couple of names that wouldn't surprise me.

drop some names. I only have vague recollections of murmurings since EWS started, but can't remember details.

2000m of climbing per day over 2 days coupled with max heart rate descents, panic bike repairs and very gnarly terrain and a whole day out. It's probably the toughest kind of racing there is so I'm not surprised. There will always be someone tempted to cheat....

You will find dopers at the top level of every sport - no exceptions, not surprising it's in EWS too.

You will find dopers at the bottom end of every sport too, normally doobie though, for those that dont feel the need to go for the win right now.

Tougher than a 21 day grand tour with days of 4000m of climbing? Yeah.......

Grand Tours are tough, no doubt, but  . . . . .

Riding in a bunch hiding out the wind, medical car never far away, massages every evening, personal chefs preparing your meals, you live in Monaco . . . . .   how hard can it really be?

;-)
