Dirt Tracker Posted November 13, 2018 Share Looking to rub out some bad habits and work on some bits that are holding me back so want to find a good CT based person for a skills clinic. I'm sure there will be things I'm doing that will be spotted and changed but areas I want to improve on are: - Drops n hops- Jumps- Enduro / gravity skillsPersonally I'd like to have the person do a bit of a ride first to see how I am riding and see what I'm doing right / wrong. Then go session skills. I've had a couple of clinics where you rock up and then have a lesson reeled off verbatim with out looking at what level I'm at. Sure going back to the basics and practicing them in a car park is awesome but there are specifics that I would like to overcome and feel is stopping me from moving forward and getting the enjoyment out of my rides. Any recommendations would be great.
Desi Posted November 13, 2018 Share https://bikinginthebosch.co.za/ Joanna Dobinson from Biking in the Bosch does personal sessions. She trains/upskills beginners, right up to top international riders - men and women. She's a great enduro rider herself, so should be good for what you're looking for. varkie2 Posted November 13, 2018 Share Michael Lord in stellenbosch. He had my partner for epic 2016 go from a roadie (never having ridden a mtb before, not even owning one before) to epic ready in 2 sessions. Very nice guy, Dirt Tracker

NickGM Posted November 13, 2018 Share Chris Nixon at The Bike Park (Constantia Uitsig) https://bikeparkatuitsig.co.za/skills-coaching/ I can't recommend this guy highly enough. I had one session with him and he gave me loads of drills to practice and reinforce some basic things I was doing wrong. It really helped. Nice guy as well. Dan Dob Posted November 13, 2018 Share https://www.irideafrica.com/product-category/clinic/skills-clinic/ and then there's always Swen Lauer I have stopped doing skills clinics this winter I'm afraid. I would say Chris Nixon or Julien Louw are your best bet if you're looking for drops and jumps clinics Shebeen and Dirt Tracker
