Where do you store your stuff on a Scott Spark?

Doing some homework on a possible new dual suspension bike. The Scott Spark 940 (2018) is high on the list currently.

My only concern is where to store everything? It only has place for one bottle cage.

So what I want to find out from Spark riders is where do you store your stuff? What does your setup look like?

I have stopped using saddle bags after my third bag mysteriously unzipped itself mid-ride and dropped bombs on the trail. I now use a canister in the second bottle cage on my HT.

Tube I can tape to the frame somewhere. Invest in a Sahmurai Sword?

I know, I know, I can get an Epic and have 2 cages and place for a swat box. Problem solved.

I do many solo rides, and sometimes in VERY isolated areas (okay okay, this pic taken with my previous bike ...) -

So I have opted for a SMALL saddle bag, with the following :

- Spez 29'' tube (it has a thinner rubber layer and packs a LOT smaller than standard tubes!)

- bombs, etc ....

dropper friendly

Packs tight and everything has A dedicated slot , so no ratteling on the trails

folds over it self before attatching to your seat so your tools will never fall out

and the Ranger + can carry A seriaas amount of tools

If you're just gona use the Tube in an emergency , then You might want to look at these https://www.tubolito.com/ You can only use it once but it folds up super  tiny

Standard size bottle works well, it actually puts the bottle higher up which makes it easier to reach. Fit is snug but works well

I have the syncros bottle cage with the chain breaker tool and multi tool in it. Then obviously that takes one big 800ml water bottle. In my jersey pockets i carry 2 bombs, the bomb adapter, as well as a little plastic boksie with various size tubeless plugs and the applicator tool. also in there is a garage air compressor to thin valve adapter. I have a spare tubilito tube taped to the inside front triangle. I have a spare chain link taped to my brake cable. I then carry all the snacks and house keys in the jersey pockets. really don't see what what more you want to carry? for the transbaviaans I did add a seatpost water bottle cage at the back for extra water.

Perhaps some people just don’t want to tape stuff all over their bikes

2nd bottle on seat post if you don't have a dropper. I have Spez bottle cage with a multitool connection under it with the Spez multitool. Spez chain break with spare link in headset. Bomb adapter on seat post cage with 2 bombs. Spare tube taped to bars by stem. And Samurai swords in handlebar plugs. Pocket then has bomb adapter with some spares like spare derailleur hanger, spare plugs. Bought the Spez accessories before newer after market versions like Lyne etc. so many options out now.

Swat boxes are not only for Spaz bikes!

How did you fit the box, don't you need the third hole to secure ?
