But If I buy a fork, I usually ask the seller to provide me with proof of the last service, or alternatively ask him/her to take the fork in for a air chamber service at a reputable bike shop(that I will pay for), just to confirm everything is ok with the internals. Best advice this. Not just because the seller is a new member, but also because this is what you do when you buy a used fork! Get an independent shop to give it a once over, then facilitate the transaction while they're at it. Given that they made something from the service they'll probably be happy to oblige. His name is Campbell Van Der merwe. Go facebook him. Or even instagram. His forks were serviced by a rockshox agent as far as I can remember. I understand the scam **** going on but you gents can always speak on whatsapp and get a better Guage on the seller. Feel free to message me if you want more info on him. Nothing personal but this is th way that most people get scammed. I have alread organised a ficilitator at my cost. Sent a e-mail and PM to seller but still no responce. I pefer to send messages via e-mail or Pm's not by mobile phone. When a deal has progressed then I will go over to miblie phone comms.
