Hi

Im trying to decide between Maxxis Torch Tire 29 x 2.10 and the continental Speed King 2.2 (29 X 2.2) for my 29er...

https://www.maxxis.com/catalog/tire-317-137-torch

https://www.continental-tires.com/bicycle/tires/mountainbike-tires/speed-king-2-2

Can someone please point to me to the advantages and disadvantages of each one. Also which one would be faster?

thanks in advance

Peg

For gravel, road, commuting or a mix of? Probably couldn't go wrong with either.

Question is if they're available or not. International sites aren't an indicator of which markets have availability.

I was trying to find the sarcasm... Isn't that Comic Sans?

No sarcasm, was just trying to unify all fonts and that was the one I selected but in the end it didn't work.  Yes it is comic sans....

WELCOME to the the Hub.

May you find a home and loads of information here

PS - "Comic sans" font is a handy trick used by some when the reply is "not strictly factual" ...

Currently have a set of Speed Kings on my gravel bike and they are fantastic. Fast, good grip (on road, wet or dry), and great puncture resistance. My previous tyres (Clement X'plors) averaged about one puncture per 1,000km, my Speed Kings have only had one puncture in the last 4,000km under the exact same conditions. Still plenty of tread left, will possibly get 10,000km out of them. Highly recommended.
