And it looks like he was travelling with MD through the night and they are arriving at the dam together.

I am sure that Mart has gone back over the last night he spent in the Hawequas mountains and has recce'ed the perfect route. It must be lekker to ride it together

Martin's wife must be pleased that he is riding with a riding with a Dr and just up ahead is Dr Payne too - its a strange thing about the FC, there are always quite a few Drs riding, although you may need to get a 30 year ENT specialist to pop a shoulder back in.

Just a comment on the Payne's, a very impressive ride under very tough conditions, huge respect - Nigel has several motivations for going under 16 days and for the one he is about to double the bets of his mates who supported the initiative he is riding for. He and Adi have ridden powerfully.

Dr Ergee, another very solid ride, shows the intent of a veteran of the trail. Impressed.

My tracking page (the whole FC website actually) is giving a 502 Bad gateway error.  Just me or are others having the same issue?

Chatted to Martin briefly this morning. He's recovered, feeling strong and looking forward to facing his nemesis in the daylight. The doc has a mtb event at Hermanus High to get to tomorrow so I'm sure he'll join Martin.

Weather is looking perfect for a Stettyns mission today.

The dark side of me always wishes for a big cold front to pull in about now

Hectic night for the Payne brothers. Riding back and forth for 3 hours within 5kms of Diemers. They've been on the go for 22 hours.
