2018 Trek Top Fuel with longer travel

Hi.

Looking for some advise with regards to increasing the fork travel on my 2018 Top Fuel.

100mm as standard. I would like to fit a 120mm Pike if I can find one. (Mono link set to low)

Want to make it more trail orientated.

My question is, what would the downside of this be ? ( Handling, etc...)

Lastly, would a 130mm Pike be a big difference to a 120mm ? ( Can the frame handle it?)

Thanks for your advise.

So HeadAngle would decrease by roughly 1deg per 20mm (not accurate)

SeatTube Angle will slacken (climbing may suffer)

BB height will increase, BB drop will decrease.

Honestly i think you will be fine if you put a 120mm fork in. Would not go past that though as  then you will have too much party in the front.

20mm is minimal, you can always bring the front back down with the stem (or less spacers if you have).
