"Bought" a set of DA9000 calipers https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/378747-dura-ace-9000-brake-calipers/ from Martin45, real name BM Fourie, deal concluded on the phone, paid same day (Aug 27th) into his Capitec account and was assured that it would be sent as he had a "Postnet 300m away from him".I was away for 2 weeks and was surprised to find that nothing was waiting for me on my return. But no sweat, WhatsApped him and was assured he would send. A week later phoned him again and was told he was in Worcester so hadn't been able to send, but would send when back in Cape Town in 2 days. Nothing happened. Now does not answer my calls and no response to voice messages, and seems to have removed WhatsApp from his phone. Our last whatsapps were on 7 Sept where he was checking to see if everything was ok with the bars. He seemed genuine on the phone and others who have dealt with him had no hassles, and they were not all face to face transactions. But 3 weeks after the deal, when he last answered my call, he was still alive and well and had still not sent the calipers.
