Alouette3 Posted November 28, 2019 Share Came across the Chaoyang Rock Wolf tire advertised on a local online store, but can't find any reviews or much information at all about them. Anyone actually had any first hand experience. I know if the brand and that they make tires for the likes of Spez etc and occasionally someone uses their Hornet tire, but that's about it. Interested particularly in feedback on the Rock Wolf

Matchstix Posted November 28, 2019 Share I have been liking it on the rear wheel. A tad slippery in the wet but otherwise good.Outlasted a mates maxxis aggresor and dhr dd on a two week trip.

Alouette3 Posted December 9, 2019 Share First impressions are great. Set up tubeless first time with just a floor pump, easiest tubeless I've ever done. Taken it for 2 rides now on the back of my Jeffsy in Tokai, not super fast rolling, but that's not to be expected, still rides well though. On the down and twisty stuff I'm extremely happy, grips up incredibly well even I'm the dry and dusty conditions up I'm Tokai at the moment. beckerr Posted November 4, 2021 Share Hi I got a Chaoyang Rock Wolf 2.35 as back tyre. Very happy with it. Had a Swalbe and Maxxis at back and the Chaoyang is much more robust.
FirstV8 Posted November 6, 2021 Share I rode the Hornet and found it to have very soft side walls . ( Punctured easy with hard twigs and lose stone ) Mileage was half of what i get out of a Maxxis tyre . Grip in mud and soft sand is good , i would say equal to Maxxis but i like mileage out of my tyres .
capoeira Posted January 4 Share I currently ride with the Chaoyang rock wolf. It's an incredible Tyre. I ride enduro and xc occasionally and work like magic on both in all terrain. What's very important is they also are highly durable. Haven't used any others for the Chaoyang range. But man. Trust me! Try them rock wolf. You'll be thanking me later..
