My ex is relocating to George from Jhb, and she needs to move a few household items. It's really a "part load" rather than a full household. Grease_Monkey Posted December 10, 2019 Share Having moved many many times in my life (15 times to be exact) with everything from Elliots to Stutaford Van Lines, to smaller brands I can say one thing - the guys packing your stuff simply don't give a dam about your stuff, no exceptions. We have always had things broken, always had things stolen - the damage was sometimes just more than other times. The point of my story - whoever you choose make sure you have good insurance in place and keep a register of goods, and pack your valuables yourself. We most recently used Elliot Mobility - they offered a decent price compared to the other guys, and we escaped with only a few broken items. I would likely use them again. V12man Posted December 10, 2019 Share I moved some stuff to Jhb from PE a couple of weeks ago - brilliantly packed and everything arrived in 1 piece - I don't think it was that cheap but worth it for the packing job they did - and it was organized remotely. Done by this crowd - I will use him again when next I need to move stuff.
