Motorcyclist VS Cyclists - Cradle

ACE Cycles

Recommended Posts

Be safe out there ladies and gents, there was an unfortunate incident in the Cradle today where a motorcyclist attacked our riding group.

It happened on the M5 south, on the downhill before the climb towards Valverde.

The motorcyclist tried to punch one of the riders off his bike and hit him on the back. We assume it's because the rider wasn't deep enough in the yellow lane for the thugs liking.

After being told to F*ck off accordingly, the motorcyclist made a u-turn narrowly missing the riders in his attempt to run them off the road. He further proceeded to chase down another cyclist, but fortunately missed when he tried to kick the cyclist off his bike.

By deep in the yellow lane, I hope you weren’t meaning this.... (picture a mate took yesterday)

But ya, I can’t understand why people are so angry and aggressive early in the morning. I mean how is their day going to go...

Were you able to get a number plate for the motorbike? Has it been reported? Hope something happens to the motorbike rider.

that an onramp onto a highway. stupid stupid stupid

Either an on ramp or where 2 highways join like N12 and R21. I thought it could be there just before the swing bridge but looking on google maps now it doesn't look like it.

Gilloolys interchange , direction East Rand? The lanes merge and then he would've been on the highway with two or three lanes either side, and cars and trucks doing 100 km/h plus. Wow.

Ah yeah you 100% right. I was close, just the wrong direction. Knew I recognised the area.

Bikers generally don't have number plates these days...

I don't lekker understand the logic of the guy's on motorbikes. Had some numbnuts on a GS aim at me in the car the other day, because he could not get passed on the narrow bridge with oncoming traffic. I use to ride motorcycle for years and I can tell you who will win in that game. Driving into my car cause your an ass let me put it this way you are going to fall more than once that day.

If a bike comes aiming at you on the bicycle spray him with your water, most likely he will not expect it or no what it is and swerve away but wait till his lekker close, hy moet sy gat af skrik.

Not lekker, jeeze, I used to ride there so much on my motorcycle when I lived in Josie. So unnecessary. Tis a beauts road to just enjoy the view and chill. Plenty of room for all. Many other roads to let the ponies run free, so to speak.

Loved riding my road bike there too for the brief time I owned it.
