Been advised by a friend of his that despite the surgical intervention his head injury was too severe and he passed away last night. Condolences to friends and family.

RIP Fellow rider,

If indeed a Hit and Run I pray the perp is caught.

Sounds weird saying "it's an area of the road I never really feel in danger", But it's true. in Both directions there is a double lane and they are fairly wide too and not too busy(which could also lead to lack on road concentration by drivers)

On Sunday afternoon a cyclist also passed away going up Constantia Nek, confirmed Heart attack.
