Vheerdsj Posted August 1, 2020 Share I’m looking to purchase a spinning bike from Sportsmanswarehouse. Does anyone have one or has used one who can give a product review? slickjay007 Posted August 1, 2020 Share I think to be honest a spinning bike is a spinning bike. Most of them measure speed, calories and distance so if it's not a spin type that the gym uses (Smart) then it comes down to personal preference on brand. FirstV8 Posted August 1, 2020 Share I use a very similar spinning bike ( Old school Raleighhttps://www.sportsmanswarehouse.co.za/hs-fitness-indoor-bike-c1139402?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIuJDjrM356gIVhe3tCh3MBQTiEAQYASABEgJ-3_D_BwE). I fitted a Sportsmans basic computer and i have a home training system for those rainy days , lazy days or just recently our total lock down . Set yourself up with a lap top in front of you to watch what ever takes your fancy . Spinning is boring but useful . To give you an honest answer a spinning bike with a fixed wheel and one gear is a spinning bike with a fixed wheel and one gear . Used correctly it will give you the work out you want . Wannabe Posted August 1, 2020 Share We have the second one (HS Fitness Indoor Bike) for about two years now. My wife uses it mostly, so very "light" use, but not a single problem encountered in all the time. It is a sturdy machine, but the computer is very rudimentary, but it does give you the info needed, except HR stats, but if you want that, you can just use your cycling HRM. Only issue I encountered whilst assembling it, was that the bolt attaching the saddle to the "seat post" stripped right away. I just replaced it with a sturdier bolt, and that was that.
