He did a decent ride at Vuelta 2019, so I keen to see if he can build on that. I doubt JA is a real GC contender for DQS, the other teams won't make the same mistake twice... or would they...? I just highlighted the guys that my gut said could be worth taking note of. But as things typically go, I will have none of the stage winners highlighted and just two out of the final top 10. Which is why we love sport, it surprises. This course doesn't suit WvA, but watch how he finds a way to surprise us all, unless of course if he is on strict team duties for Roglic. Bob Jungels placed in the top 10 at the 2016 and 2017 Giro and nothing of note thereafter. Do we think DQS will target GC with one of their other riders or target stage wins? More likely the latter?
