Saddlebag Alternatives

Morning Everybody,

I was wondering what people on the Hub use as an alternative to a saddlebag?

I'm in the market for something that could possibly fit into the back pocket of my jersey or even the pocket of my baggies.

This has most likely been discussed extensively in the past but i'm too lazy to search for the thread.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

As you want to put it in a pocket, a simple jiffy ziplock sandwich bag will do.

light, cheap, waterproof and available in a multitude of sizes. what could be better ?

Get your mates to carry all your tools and spares, that way your bike stays clean and tidy.

But if you have to go ride solo I now use a rapstrap under my saddle, holds everything nicely. No noise etc.

Preferably on me. I'm trying to get away from something under my seat.

Usually carry 2 bombs, bomb adapter, multitool and some plugs.

Makes sense. Personally can’t deal with stuff in my pockets on a ride so a tool and water bottle solution made a huge difference for me.

Bought the One Up EDC pump that has ample stash space inside together with the Lyne cage that houses a multi-tool.

For a spare tube we use the SWAT system on her bike.

Otherwise just pop everything in a ziplock baggy and chuck it in the pocket on a jersey.

I use an external HDD case. It holds my multi-tool, bombs, plugs, tyre levers and a whole bunch of other spares. It is rigid enough to get in and out of your jersey pocket and usually just short enough to sit below the pocket elastics, so it doesn't fall out. You can pick them up for like R100. 513NUIAr%2BPL._US500_.jpg

GENIUS!! If it had Lezyne written on it it would cost R900 and people would be using words like kinematics and game changer to describe it!
