Dirt Tracker Posted August 31, 2020 Share Unfortunately that was never going to happen. Not too sure why they took so long to take that decision. As we were told, a while back by the ministry, that we won't be able to hold any large or mass participation events before March next year. Shame for all involved. Are they going to offer entries, a new event or a refund to all those who entered? DieselnDust, AllAboutRides and Bateleur1

There's just no way the event can go ahead in its current format in 2020 and possibly even in 2021.

aquaratza Posted August 31, 2020 Share Very sad. The last W2W was awesome (except for the luxury tents )My bike didn't appreciate the mud, but it was huge fun DieselnDust, Pieterlab1 and DJR
Spinnekop Posted August 31, 2020 Share Well.Strap in boys.If we are forced by rules and regulations to be scared for a virus that has killed 0.01% of the world population, then we might as well cancel ALL events and not hope for **** for the next 50 years. Weird how governments across the world are getting away with this mess. i digress. Sad to see yet another event down the drain and lost possibly forever. guidodg, DieselnDust, Quagga and 8 others

Pure Savage Posted August 31, 2020 Share Its a 202km team time trial on open roads. If there is an official photographer or beer tent at the end, its not going to stop it happening. Now just to train to do an actual non stop 200km ride! Also need someone that knows what they doing in the support car! DieselnDust
