I need a "narrower" adapter but google has not been forthcoming with any options. Should I use washers instead of the adapter? Grind the existing adapter? Any advice will be appreciated. Notice the wear marks on the rotor.take a look at the adapter, it would have a size printed on it ... ensure that this matches size printed on the rotor. it may also be worthwhile making sure that the adapter is orrientated correctly as there is an arrow showing either direction or "up" on it. It seems to be upside down.But also check printing as other guys suggest. Would recommend to take brake pad out and look at wear rather than guessing from the outside of you think the pad does not cover the disc brake area properly.
