Hairy Posted September 15, 2020 Share You Happy now lol, they didnt post it i didI am thanks The reason I thought they posted it was due to the font looking like a copy and paste exercise from a website. Out of interest which casing did they use on the build? A Ti bolt kit, foam grips and I wonder how close they would have come to the clients hopes of a 9.3kg? Props to the LBS to also include the ladies name that did the procurement in the credits at the end of the vid.

Schnavel Posted September 15, 2020 Share But..... how much? All of it! That's certainly a very impressive, light-weight build. Just shows what can be done with stock parts and a big budget! Although, you can't do much offroad with those tyres... DieselnDust, ChUkKy and gummibear

Blokeonabike Posted September 15, 2020 Share Very nice bike! Congratulations ???? Just a question, with the goal being to get it as light as possible why didn't you opt for the Roval Control SL ltd wheels instead of the stock Contol SL wheels? The Magura MT8 sl brakes are also a bit lighter than the Formulas you chose? Again, super nice bike but there are quite a few places where you can drop a substantial amount of weight and I was just wondering how you chose the parts Hairy

Grease_Monkey Posted September 15, 2020 Share 10 years ago a 2.1" was a wide tyre and most XC / marathon was done on 1.95" tyres. 2.2" to 2.35" was a downhill tyreI don't think he was referring to the width being an issue. The Renegade has an extremely thin sidewall that punctures if you give it a fright. peetwindhoek, WrightJnr and DieselnDust
