lechatnoir Posted November 5, 2020 Share saw this on road.cc... https://road.cc/content/feature/how-jonathan-shubert-broke-rra-100-mile-record-278467 what an achievement, though it was wind-assisted, it's still some effort. I was wondering what would be possible on a pumping SE-er day up the N7? Not by me of course... Veebee, Mtree and EddieV

Chris_ Posted November 5, 2020 Share Nothing gives you more bragging rights than a sub 3 hour aurgust. and the argurst is always into the wind, so sub 3 is in fact better than this guy. TNT1, Long Wheel Base, MORNE and 1 other

Schmorglebot Posted November 5, 2020 Share Very cool! Looks like it's going to be on GCN soon https://twitter.com/24HourMaths/status/1323219227663343616?s=20 Some other aero geekery: He used a massive 62t single chainring upfront, sitting in the 62x13 for most of the ride. He says a 70t would have been better on the day. The water bottle behind his seat was also empty, only there for aero savings. For hydration he had a Camelbak bladder stuffed into the front of his aero suit. Apparently also providing 4 watts of aero gainz. Besides that, he used Speedplay aero pedals, custom carbon extensions, and a ton of electrical tape. Well played sir! EddieV
