J-H de Beer Posted November 7, 2020 Share Hi, my first post. Hope I’m doing it right. Into MTB, bought first road bike to use on idt. BB fine, but the right crank armwiggles - bike shop says it’s worn out. Need to replace. Everything I know about the bike:1999 Pinarello Surprise - Tiagra group setCrank says FSA Tempo on it. Apparently “squared tapered” - sorry I’m technically challenged. Know very little about bike mechanics. If anyone knows where to start searching, would love to hear from you - thanks JH
J-H de Beer Posted November 7, 2020 Share Can you delete posts? Anyway, got sorted at Woodstock Cycle Works, Cape Town. Someone swapped the original cranks for FSA cranks, which don’t actually fit, because it’s not square tapered (Italian system). No wonder it wiggles
