Chadvdw67 Posted November 19, 2020 Share What Helmets are available at the moment for around the R2500 mark, I was super keen on getting a FOX Speedframe MIPS, but nobody has STOCK locally, and apparently the next shipment will only be in Feb, other than that I have been looking at the BELL Sixer MIPS, also coming up short, found 2 online stores that apparently have stock, but no one gets back to me when checking to make sure. What other helmets are available? SPEZ Ambush is on the list and Bontrager Rally, Leatt DBX 3.0 but they don't get the greatest reviews.... I am riding a 661 MIPS AM which was stupidly cheap on sale at CRC about a year ago If you can bring one in from overseas its a good way to broaden the selection and pick up a bargain. RomP Posted November 19, 2020 Share Were at the ass end of the world as far as MTB stock availability on just about anything goes. I reluctantly bought a Leatt DBX 3. Worst service ever, still actually waiting for my helmet supposed to have been delivered more than a week ago. Dom031 Posted November 19, 2020 Share I tried the Ambush and no matter how much I tried tweaking the adjustment dial, it just wasn't a good fit. Tried the Tactic 3, also MIPS and it was chalk and cheese with fit. Excellent helmet. Been using it for over a year. I bought the Fox Speedframe Pro (size large) online a coupe of weeks ago as I wanted a 2nd/spare helmet. Have not ridden with it yet, but it's a very good fit thankfully.
